Job Description:
Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) responsible for providing critical care to patients with cardiovascular conditions during the night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Manage patient care with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.
- Utilize equipment such as GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Impella, Swan Ganz, and Art lines.
- Perform procedures including hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, Art lines, and chest tube management.
Requirements:
- 2 years of critical care experience in adult ICU, CVICU, or Neuro ICU.
- Experience with ventilators, arterial/central line, and chest tube management skills.
- RN certification is required.
- Preferred: CVICU specific skills, CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella, Meditech experience, BSN, CCRN.
