TravelNurseSource is working with Thrive Staffing to find a qualified DOU RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!

Job Title: RN - D2 - PCU - Clinical Decision Unit

City/State: Asheville, North Carolina

Shift: 06:45-19:15, Days

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Start Date: 03/08/2026

Job Description:

The RN in the D2 - PCU - Clinical Decision Unit is responsible for providing care to medical-surgical and step-down patients with a short stay target of 24 hours. The role includes telemetry monitoring and requires a quick turnover of patients.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed inpatient overflow unit.
Monitor telemetry and ensure patients are hardwired to bedside monitors when necessary.
Float to other units as needed.

Requirements:

Telemetry competency and progressive care experience.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
