Job Description:
Experienced Registered Nurse needed for Labor & Delivery unit with responsibilities for providing care to antepartum and laboring patients, including medication management and fetal monitoring, within a Level II Perinatal Center.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cervical exams and manage antepartum and labor activities.
- Administer medications including Pitocin and perform epidurals, amnio infusion, and fetal monitoring.
- Provide postpartum care and basic breastfeeding support.
- Participate in couplet care when mom and baby are stable.
Requirements:
- Active RN License with BLS and NRP certifications.
- Certification in fetal monitoring (AWHONN or Reliant module).
- Strong experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and couplet care.
- Experience with HUGS Security system and Pyxis medication dispensing.
