Job Description:
The ER/ED Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN coordinates the care of the patient with the interdisciplinary team and collaborates with the patient/family regarding the plan of care.
Responsibilities:
- Conscious Sedation
- Participate in Intubations
- Behavioral Health Watch
- Sepsis Management
- Stroke (Tpa administration)
- Chest Pain (Heart Alerts)
Requirements:
- Must have PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS
- At least 2+ years of ER Experience
- ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE (TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED)
- CEN and strong teamwork and communication skills preferred
- Meditech experience preferred
