Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department in a fast-paced, high acuity setting. The role demands proficient skills in medication administration, trauma support, and patient triage.
Responsibilities:
- Manage medication drips and administer blood products
- Triage patients and manage cases with varying acuity levels
- Assist with trauma and code cases, including setting up chest tubes and art lines
- Provide care to a diverse patient population, ranging from neonates to geriatrics
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a large volume Emergency Department
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
- Proficiency in barcode scanning med administration and EPIC EMR
- Pediatric emergency medicine experience is preferred
