Job Description:
This position involves providing care to critically ill adult and pediatric patients in a Med Surg ICU setting. Nurses will manage various conditions including neuro and general surgeries, respiratory failure, and cardiac complications. The role requires titration of drips and real-time training on specific procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Titrate and manage drips including vasopressors, paralytics, and sedation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Attend rapid response and code situations as needed.
- Interpret and monitor telemetry strips independently.
Requirements:
- Valid RN license and compliance with a 50-mile radius rule.
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Experience in critical care and ability to interpret telemetry.
- Positive attitude, critical thinking skills, and strong teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to float to all inpatient units except Maternity/NICU.
