Schedule (4 Days):
- Tuesday 7:30am-5:00pm
- Wednesday 9:30am-7:00pm
- Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm
- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
Open to discussing a part-time schedule (Thursdays and Fridays preferred!)
60-minute lunch -- that is very important to us here!
As a team, we enjoy outings together (apple orchard, Medieval times, dinner, etc)! Office has created our own Vision/Mission and we have regular team meetings and department synergies to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
Consistent Patient Schedule:
- Average approx. 7 patients a day
- 60min recare, 90min new patient appointment!
- SRP appointments are 60-90 minutes, flexible on hygienist need!
Bi-weekly, hourly pay + ability to opt into Daily Pay to receive paycheck as earned.
Ability to earn daily + quarterly bonuses!

Family Dental Care of Sycamore, like each Heartland Dental supported office, is unique to the community and the patients they serve. With the support of a practice manager, a highly trained team on site, coupled with a vast network of experts across the nation, you’ll be completely connected to all the resources and support of Heartland Dental.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Open to new graduates and experienced hygienists!
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
