Avante at Ocala Occupational Therapist will provide and direct services to residents, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under physicians' orders.
Job Functions Include: - Ability to assess residents in need of skilled occupational therapy intervention.
- Ability to interpret and communicate results of assessments.
- Ability to design and execute appropriate treatment plans.
- Ability to document daily care as per established guidelines.
Education and Experience: • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. • Successful completion of National Certification Examination for O.T.R. • Current state licensure or license eligible. • 0-3 years of long-term care experience.
