Job Description:
Seeking an RN for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide care for patients with conditions such as motor-vehicle crashes, falls, and traumatic brain injuries. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, with responsibilities including tele-monitoring, ventilator management, and performing assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients in an 8-bed Trauma ICU.
- Administer medications and manage ventilators.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and bedside reporting.
- Float to other Sacramento facilities as required.
Requirements:
- Current certifications in ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and TNCC.
- Experience with Cerner EMR, reading EKG strips, and trauma preferred.
- Ability to work every other weekend and rotate holidays with core staff.
