Travel Nurse Job Details

- Facility Setting: OB Labor and Delivery Unit
- Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
- Start Date: December 29, 2025
- End Date: March 30, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), every other weekend and assigned holidays
- Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680–$1800
- Unit Details: 11 Labor Beds, 16 Post Partum Beds, 2 ORs, 2 Recovery Bays
- Patient Ratios: 1:1–1:3 in labor, 1:6–1:8 in post partum
- EMR System: EPIC
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications required
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring, infant warmers, FSE, IUPC, and epidural care
- Ability to float between Labor & Delivery and Post Partum units
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to manage emergency situations
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers, antepartum, post partum, and gynecology surgery patients
- Manage labor processes, including FSE, IUPC, and epidural care
- Monitor fetal well-being using advanced clinical equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC EMR
- Support a positive, team-based work environment and assist fellow nurses
