Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity at a respected academic teaching hospital in Leominster, Massachusetts.
This not-for-profit, acute care hospital offers a collaborative environment where CRNAs work alongside a 5-physician anesthesia team in a supervised care model. Providers will enjoy steady weekday scheduling, no nights, no weekends, and no call — all while practicing within a facility known for its surgical precision, supportive leadership, and focus on patient-centered care.
Assignment Highlights:
- Location: Leominster, Massachusetts
- Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5x8s (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Call: None
- Weekends: None
- Setting: Acute Care / Academic Teaching Hospital
- Model: 5 MDs / 6 CRNAs | Supervised care team
- Annual Case Volume: ~5,200
Facility Snapshot:
- 152-bed not-for-profit acute care hospital
- 6 ORs, 2 Endoscopy Suites, 1 Procedure Room
- Average daily staffing: 3 MDs, 5 CRNAs
- Two physicians supervising CRNAs, one in-room provider
- No trauma, no cardiac, no open hearts
Case Mix:
- Specialties Covered: Orthopedic, GI, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Thoracic, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Minimal Pediatric ENT
- Not Included: No Trauma, No Cardiac, No OB, No Open Heads
- Techniques: General, Spinal, and Basic Regional Anesthesia (Supervised model with opportunity for skill expansion under attending oversight)
Candidate Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted Massachusetts CRNA License
- NBCRNA Certification
- BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 1–2 years of anesthesia experience in hospital or surgery center setting
- Comfortable working in a team-based, physician-supervised model
