- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, every other weekend, rotating holidays
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (Connecticut nursing license preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience (PCU/ICU experience also considered)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (ACLS required)
- Ability to float to other clinical units within your skillset
- Must be able to make up any time absent prior to contract end date
Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Float to other nursing units as needed
- Participate in rotating holiday and weekend coverage
