Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide acute, urgent, and emergency care as the sole provider at the health center
- Evaluate and manage emergent cases, coordinating transfer by sea or air to partner hospital as needed
- Deliver comprehensive family medicine services
- Document all patient encounters, adhering to clinical protocols
- Ensure timely and effective communication with support teams for emergent transfers
Additional Information
- Board certification required in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- New York state medical license required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
- Acute care, urgent care, or emergency medicine experience preferred
