We are seeking a Cardiology Physician Assistant for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in New York starting Jan 2, 2026. This opportunity offers 12-hour shifts with a mix of days and nights, requiring flexibility to cover both day and night shifts based on hospital needs. The role involves working in both non-invasive general cardiology and electrophysiology, providing critical support to a dynamic clinical team.
Job Details

- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm), mix of days and nights, assignments may vary based on coverage gaps
Responsibilities and Duties- Interpret EKGs and ECGs
- Perform and interpret stress testing (treadmill, nuclear, echo)
- Conduct and review lipid panels
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Perform and interpret echocardiograms (Echo), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and stress tests (exercise/pharmacologic)
- Support both general and electrophysiology cardiology services
- Adapt to varying assignments and shift schedules as directed by hospital administration
Additional Information- Active New York physician assistant license required
- Board certification in cardiology required
- Flexibility in scheduling is essential due to shift variability and coverage needs
