We are seeking experienced Cardiology Physician Assistants for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Jan 2, 2026. This role offers coverage across both day and night 12-hour shifts, requiring flexibility to meet dynamic hospital coverage needs. Providers will work with advanced cardiac technologies and complex patient cases in a fast-paced environment.

- Schedule: Two providers for 7am-7pm and two providers for 7pm-7am; 12-hour shifts with variable assignment to days or nights based on coverage gaps
Responsibilities and Duties- Provide care for advanced cardiac cases including ECMO, fresh heart post-ops, LVAD, Impella, and open chest patients
- Manage patients with Flow Tracks, Swanganz, and CVHD machines
- Respond to rapid changes in patient acuity and adapt to varying clinical scenarios
- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary cardiac care team
- Ensure accurate documentation and communication for all interventions
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements
Additional Information- Active New York license required
- Cardiology board certification required
- Flexibility is essential; providers may be reassigned between day and night shifts based on operational needs
