Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at time of application)
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in Telemetry or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend as required
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application
Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit with a focus on telemetry monitoring
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress using electronic health records
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on care plans, cardiac monitoring, and health management
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
