Springfield, Illinois Nursing Job Details
- Location: Springfield, IL 62769 (Illinois nursing jobs)
- Unit: Cardiac/Pulmonary Telemetry
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract
- Start Dates: January 5, 2026 (December starts available)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (NOC), every other weekend required
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950 - $2090
- Patient Ratio: 1:6-7, supported by 2 clinical techs
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license (required at time of submission)
- At least 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Travel Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients in the Cardiac/Pulmonary Telemetry unit
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical techs, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Accurately document patient care and progress
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures
