Join us as a an EHS professional, where you’ll put your love of science to work in the Scientific Insourcing Services department.. You’ll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace®.
Candidate will be part of a team that provides Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support to laboratory R&D operations.
Compensation: $22.00 - 25.00 per hour
Primary Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in carrying out compliance related activities such as:
- Completion and submittal of regulatory and permit required compliance reports for various R&D and pilot plant production operations
- Data collection, recordkeeping, and reporting for environmental programs including Air, Hazardous Waste, Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), Industrial Stormwater, and Tanks Management.
- Coordination with 3M Environmental Operations to ensure continued compliance in an evolving regulatory environment
- Ensuring proper response, reporting, and investigation of spills
- Involved with the implementation of environmental stewardship, sustainability, and continuous improvement programs
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in environmental regulations or data analysis and
- 2+ reporting
- Previous experience in Technical, R&D, or industrial experience Project management Documentation
- Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Data Science, or Engineering is preferred
