RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts
• Required certifications: BLS, TNCC, ACLS, PALS
• Must wear Navy scrubs
• No local candidates accepted
• Provide care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in planning for safe patient care delivery
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Hold shift accountability for emergency department patient care
• Anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care in fast-paced emergency environment
