ER RN Job Details
- Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Location: Camden, NJ 08103 (New Jersey nursing jobs)
- Employment Type: Per Diem, Night Shifts
- Pay Rate: $90 per hour for in-state NJ candidates; $95 per hour for out-of-state NJ candidates
- Shifts Per Week: Minimum 2 shifts weekly; option to pick up additional shifts
- Hours Per Week: Approximately 24 hours
- Schedule: 4 weekend shifts plus weekday nights per 6-week schedule
- Holiday Requirement: One summer hallmark, one winter hallmark, and either the day before or after Thanksgiving and Christmas
- Guaranteed Shifts: 3 shifts biweekly (client may cancel 1 shift biweekly without penalty)
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- Assignment Duration: 13-week contract
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
- Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications preferred
- Ability to work a mix of weekend and weekday night shifts
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and urgent medical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and rapidly changing situations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and families
