Travel Nursing Job Details

Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state)
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience in Med/Surg or PCU
- PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience required
- Previous experience in Select Specialty Hospital or acute care setting preferred
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission
- Develop individualized care plans and provide patient education
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Participate in rehabilitation programs and discharge planning
- Communicate patient status changes to the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
- Promote patient and staff safety by following hospital safety protocols
- Foster a positive team environment and participate in unit team-building activities
- Assume charge nurse duties as needed after orientation
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education
