RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 to 3:1
• Must have CPN knowledge and experience with documentation systems including CPN and Meditech
• Level 2 or higher NICU experience required
• Work with specialized equipment including Vapotherm, Avea Vent, Giraffes, Alaris IV pumps, and Syringe Feeding pumps
• Perform advanced skills including PIV insertion, NG placement and feedings, assisting with procedures
• Provide daily care for sick and preterm newborns with ability to recognize changes in newborn condition
• Participate in procedures such as PIV, UAC, UVC, PICC, lumbar puncture, chest needling, chest tubes, surfactant administration, and glucose monitoring
• Required certifications: BLS, with NRP and STABLE encouraged
• Will not float outside of NICU unit
• Required uniform: Hot Pink Scrubs
• Provide family-centered care with parents involved in patient care
• Work in all private room NICU environment with 24/7 NNP coverage
