- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state (required for Ohio nursing jobs)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit
- Completion of all onboarding requirements: background check, drug screen, health screenings, and competency testing
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
- Monitor patient status, respond to obstetric emergencies, and deliver expert clinical support in the Labor & Delivery unit
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care best practices
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital and healthcare policies
- Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for patients and healthcare staff
