Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Jersey City, NJ 07302 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)
- Facility: Level 2 Trauma Center – Operating Room
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 29, 2025
- End Date: March 30, 2026
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2410 - $2580
- Call: 2x per schedule
- Charting System: EPIC (electronic medical records)
- Scrubs Provided

Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active New Jersey or Compact RN license (required at time of application)
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (preferred for OR RN jobs)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Operating Room RN experience
- Proficient in both circulating and scrubbing roles
- Robotic and ENT surgical experience required
- Experience with orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgeries required
- Level 2 Trauma Center experience preferred
- Ability to float within skillset as needed
- Submit recent work history and Scrub/Circulate skills checklist
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care for diverse patient populations (all OR specialties except open heart)
- Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures, including robotic, ENT, ortho, vascular, neuro, and general surgeries
- Participate in call rotation (2x per schedule)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize EPIC for electronic charting and documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Float to other units within skillset as needed based on census and staffing needs
