Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a CA license, able to float to multiple units and work night shifts.

Responsibilities

Position is in the ICU with required floating to SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg units
12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, three shifts per week
Every other weekend coverage is required
No on-call responsibilities
Care involves diverse inpatient populations across critical care and med-surg settings
Staff may float between ICU, stepdown, telemetry, and med-surg units as needed
Must not have been employed by the facility in the past year to qualify as a traveler
A 50-mile radius rule applies for candidate eligibility
Only one holiday off will be approved for requested time off
Candidates must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of accepting an offer

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Current certifications in BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS
Minimum of 4 years of RN experience
Experience floating to ICU, SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg units
