- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1550 - $1660 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Ohio RN license preferred
- BLS Certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS Certification required prior to first shift
- Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience (2 years highly desired)
- Experience in Med/Surg, medical-surgical nursing, or related specialties preferred
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission
- Develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning
- Communicate changes in patient status to physicians and charge nurses to ensure continuity of care
- Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
- Promote patient and employee safety by following hospital policies and safety protocols
- Contribute to a positive healthcare team environment and participate in unit team-building activities
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as requested after orientation
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education for nursing professionals
