A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Repair Engineer you will be involved on
equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting. The engineer may spend time in the
workshop or on-site, collaborating with technicians, assemblers and other
engineers to assess issues, discuss possible solutions and support on the
implementation. You will be responsible to document findings, update
maintenance records, and communicate with project managers to ensure alignment
on repair progress. Safety protocols are a priority, and also the technical
requirements for our product as Original Equipment Manufacturer.
How You’ll Make an
Impact
- ·Develop work instructions, repair shop routers,
inspection packages and quality plans.
- ·Establish guidelines to provide engineering assessment
and disposition for compromised equipment whist coordinating with experts to
develop accurate repair dispositions.
- ·Collaborate with production supervisors and leadsman
to ensure specifications and procedures are adhered to during project.
- ·Support the resolution of customer technical issues to
provide effective solutions within acceptable schedule requirements.
- ·Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance
activities, and equipment performance for future reference by creating Final
Overhaul Reports for completed projects.
- ·Work closely with technicians, Assemblers, project managers, and clients
to ensure effective communication and project alignment
What You Bring
- (or related field)with a minimum of 3+years
of working experience with medium/large equipment; 5+ years in the oil &
gas or power generation service industry is preferred.
- ·Possess
fundamental knowledge of Valves or Turbomachinery theory and thorough
understanding of standard repair principles. Experience with safety valves is
cosnidered a plus
- ·Familiar with machining and mechanic operations including industry
standards (ASME & API).
- ·Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively
troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on a timely manner, being flexibility to
adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment
- ·Excellent communication, interpersonal ability and technical writing
skills.
- ·Knowledge
of safety regulations and practices to maintain a safe working environment
