As a Director of Pharmacy you will lead all aspects of pharmacy operations, including planning, organizing, and supervising services in alignment with hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with hospital leadership to implement innovative pharmacy practices, supported by proprietary CPS software, a dedicated support team including experts in operations, clinical, and regulatory as well as a CPS Area Director or Senior Vice President.
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 40 hours a week primarily daytime hours. The position may be required to work some extended hours which may include some evenings and weekends as business necessitates.
About the Facility: Weirton Medical Center is a 238-bed non-profit, acute-care, general community hospital serving the residents of West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The residents of West Virginia's Tri-state region benefit from a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including clinical, diagnostic, expanded cardiology services, behavioral Medicine, and a diabetes clinic. The hospital also offers emergency medicine, home health care, rehabilitation, and occupational therapy a pain and wound treatment center.
About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is open 24 hours a day seven days a week.

Required Qualifications:
- ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred)
- Active applicable state Pharmacist license in good standing
- 3+ years of experience as a pharmacist in an acute care hospital setting
- 2+ years of pharmacy management experience working in an acute care hospital setting; 3+ years preferred
- Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with professional organizations
Preferred Qualification:
- Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
