Travel Nurse Job Details

- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 22, 2025 (or sooner)
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights; 12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shifts per Week: 3
- Employment Type: Travel RN

- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100–$2250
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Wyoming RN license (attach to resume)
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Med/Surg Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to a diverse patient population using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor for adverse reactions
- Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, post-treatment care, and illness/injury management
- Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment; interpret and record electronic displays
- Initiate corrective action in response to adverse patient symptoms
- Perform bedside care, including dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts
- Assist physicians during examinations and treatments
- Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Accurately document all care information in a timely manner
- Float to other hospital units as needed and perform additional duties as assigned
