School Occupational Therapist- $3000 bonus eligible

Birch Agency, a nationally recognized company in educational services, is seeking a dedicated School Occupational Therapist to join our team in Needville TX! We have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special needs, and we are hiring like-minded professionals to be part of our team.

Job Details:

Start: ASAP (School starts 8/13)

Full-time (Monday-Friday)

K-12

Pay dependent on experience but starting at $45/hr

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy

TX Licensure

Responsibilities:

Help students attain IEP and academic goals and objectives

Collaborate with families and teachers to help students achieve success

Screen new students to determine eligibility for services

Provide Occupational Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities

Attend IEP meetings

Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary

Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines

Provide thorough and accurate documentation in timely fashion

Address and provide therapy for learning and or behavioral issues such as motor skills, cognitive processing, and visual or perceptual problems
