- Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
- Start Date: December 15, 2025
- End Date: March 16, 2026
- Duration: 13-week travel nursing assignment
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC EMR
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1950–$2090
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or Iowa
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg, Post Op, or Stepdown nursing jobs
- Ability to manage 5-7 patients per shift in a clinical setting
- Experience with surgical and post-operative patient care strongly preferred
- Willingness to float within the same discipline across local healthcare campuses
- Must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)
RN Responsibilities – Med/Surg Telemetry
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Surgical/Ortho 6S unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, perform clinical assessments, and document care using EPIC EMR
- Support patients through post-operative recovery and rehabilitation
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff
- Participate in unit-based initiatives and healthcare quality improvement activities
