Direct Hire Physical Therapist Assistant Role $68,993 per year in Sacramento, California

Clinical Magnet, a division of ICON Medical Network, is looking for a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our partner's full-time team in Sacramento, California. This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY (not contract).

Key Responsibilities:
· Provides direct patient care to patients ages 55 and up under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to improve patient movement and function, applying exercises, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities
· Observe patients during therapy, record their progress, and report findings to the PT for review and adjustments to the treatment plan.
· Implement treatment plans prescribed by the supervising PT by performing exercises, stretching, balance training, and gait training
· Apply physical agents like heat, cold, or electrical stimulation to specific muscles or joints as directed by the PT.
· Occasionally assist patients with DME set-up

Key Requirements:
· Associate’s Degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program in Physical Therapy
· Active, unencumbered licensure in the state of practice
· A minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the elderly
· Bilingual is a huge plus

Compensation and Schedule:
· Salary starts at $69K but can be considerably higher based on years of experience
· Comprehensive benefits plan
· Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
· Paid holidays and NO weekends
