Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position, requiring a KS or compact license and hospital Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

Hospital Med/Surg unit setting
Day shift schedule with 3 x 12-hour shifts, 06:45am-07:15pm
Weekend rotation required with 2 weekends per month
On-call required 1 shift per month
Holiday rotation required
May float within Med/Surg scope
Nicotine-free facility policy
Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
Bi-weekly pay cycle
Orientation is 8 hours

Requirements

Active KS RN or compact license required
Minimum 1 year of hospital Med/Surg experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience with medication drips such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem preferred
