Job Description
American Traveler seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with a NY license, recent fetal monitoring certification, and prior travel experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Required to work every other weekend and holiday
- Will care for laboring patients and must possess nursery skills
- Uses EPIC EMR with experience required
- Must perform nursery and fetal monitoring duties in addition to labor & delivery responsibilities
- Physical exam required prior to start, with associated cost
- Influenza vaccination required unless valid medical or religious documentation is provided at least 10 days before start date
- Up to 5 shifts may be canceled per contract by the facility
- First-time travelers are not considered for this position
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
- Fetal Monitoring certification within the past two years required
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience with nursery care required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Candidates must not reside in the following NY counties: Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany
- Candidates who worked as staff at this facility in the past year or within the AMC network in the past six months will not be considered
