- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/21/2026)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend/holiday
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2160 - $2310
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Active RN license in New York State
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
- Fetal Monitoring certification (within past 2 years)
- Strong nursery and newborn care skills
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system (clinical support)
- Facility physical required prior to start (cost applies)
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious documentation accepted if submitted 10 days before start)
- County Restrictions: Candidates cannot reside in Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany counties
- Not eligible if employed as staff at this facility in the past year or within AMC network in past six months
L&D RN Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced technology and clinical skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure safe, effective patient care
- Document all care accurately using EPIC EMR system
- Educate and support patients and families during labor and delivery
- Demonstrate proficiency in nursery care and newborn assessment
- Follow facility protocols and participate in weekend/holiday rotations
