- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/21/2026)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
- Healthcare Setting: Labor and Delivery Unit
- Shift: 12 Hour Days (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend/holiday required
- Charting System: EPIC
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2160–$2310 per week
Qualifications – Labor and Delivery RN
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience in Labor and Delivery
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
- Fetal Monitoring certification (within past 2 years)
- Strong nursery skills required
- EPIC charting experience
- Facility physical required (cost $96)
- Annual flu vaccination required (medical or religious documentation needed 10 days before start)
- County Residency Restrictions: Candidates cannot reside in Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany counties
- Not eligible if employed as staff at this facility in the past year or within AMC network (AMC, GFH, Saratoga, CMH) in the past six months
Responsibilities – Labor and Delivery Nursing Jobs
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit
- Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery
- Utilize advanced fetal monitoring techniques
- Educate and support patients and families during labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC
- Provide newborn care and demonstrate strong nursery skills
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols and required certifications
