Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Memphis, Tennessee (38104) – Tennessee nursing jobs
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 1, 2025
- End Date: March 2, 2026
- Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 - 17:00) or 5x8-hour shifts (shift may be discussed during interview)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1980 - $2120
- On-Site Registered Nurse Position
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state (NLC guidelines apply; no pending licenses)
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the healthcare facility
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience with prior travel nursing experience, or 3 years of OR experience without travel
- At least 1 completed previous travel nurse assignment required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Current BLS certification (must remain valid throughout assignment)
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions permitted)
- Cerner EMR charting experience preferred
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps with Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with facility and healthcare regulations
- Participate in on-call rotation as required (details provided during interview)
- Float to similar units or nearby campuses within 20 miles as needed
- Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling; block scheduling is not guaranteed
