ICU RN Job Details
- Location: Yuma, AZ 85364 (Arizona nursing jobs)
- Setting: Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
- Start Date: November 3, 2025
- End Date: February 2, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (18:45 – 07:15)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
- Holiday Requirement: 2 major holidays during assignment
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1990 - $2130
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (Arizona or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year recent ICU experience in a Level I or II trauma hospital
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Experience with ventilators, sedation, sepsis, pressors, DKA, cardiac, CHF, and respiratory cases
- Ability to titrate a wide variety of critical care drips
- Flexibility to float to other hospital units as needed
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to ICU patients with complex medical conditions
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using Epic EMR
- Titrate and administer critical care drips, including vasopressors, inotropes, antiarrhythmics, sedatives, paralytics, analgesics, and anticoagulants
- Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and other interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Respond to codes and rapid response situations as needed
- Float to other units when required, maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios
- Participate in unit orientation and ongoing competency training
