Travel Nursing Job Details

- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Unit: Surgical/Ortho 6S (Med/Surg Telemetry)
- Start Date: November 17, 2025
- End Date: February 16, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC EMR
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1950 - $2090 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or Iowa
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg, Post-Op, or Stepdown nursing jobs
- Experience managing 5-7 patients per shift in a clinical setting
- Surgical and post-operative nursing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to float within the same discipline across local healthcare campuses
- Must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility (local travelers not accepted)
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on the Surgical/Ortho 6S unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry, assess patient conditions, and respond to changes promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide post-operative care and support for surgical patients
- Accurately document patient information in the EPIC EMR system
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff
- Float to other units within the same nursing discipline as required
