Job Details – Telemetry RN Travel Assignment
- Assignment Length: 10 weeks
- Start Date: November 24, 2025
- End Date: February 2, 2026
- Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital
- Unit: Telemetry (COL - 6H STU)
- Nursing Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), every other weekend required
- Hours per Week: 36
- Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: Free parking lots and garages available
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (pending license considered with proof of application)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience managing a 1:5 patient ratio in a telemetry unit
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- First-time travel nurses welcome
Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias in telemetry patients
- Start and maintain IVs for adult and geriatric patients
- Deliver direct patient care in a telemetry nursing setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services
- Float between similar nursing units as needed
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic
- Participate in weekend coverage every other weekend
- Respond to rapid response and emergency situations
