- Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed

- Orientation: 2 shifts (12 hours each)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020
ER Nurse Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at submission)
- Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNS or TNCC, NIHSS
- Experience with moderate sedation, phlebotomy, and EKGs
- Ability to work rotating start times and all shifts as needed
- First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply
ER RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics
- Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5, adjusting for patient acuity and staffing
- Administer critical care drips and moderate sedation as needed
- Perform blood draws, EKGs, wound care, and assist with procedures such as lumbar punctures
- Provide care for behavioral health patients in designated safe rooms
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, mid-level providers, techs, and support staff
- Float to other units (Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, ICU) based on experience and hospital needs
- Document patient care using the Meditech charting system
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to hospital policies, including dress code (solid color scrubs)
