Talent4Health is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Rochester, Michigan.

Job Description & Requirements

Duration: 13 weeks
36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, days, nights
Employment Type: Local Contract

Job Summary:

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Required Certification & Licensure:

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS

Schedule:

7:00am – 7:30pm (MUST WORK SATURDAY & SUNDAY)
7:00pm – 7:30am (MUST WORK SATURDAY & SUNDAY)

Systems/Experience:

Comfortable working with CPN and Cerner

Experience:

3 years of L&D experience required. (2 years for Days shift position)
1 year Cerner experience
Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care.

Required Education:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
