Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a TX or compact license and strong clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital
Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
May be required to float to another campus or different floor as needed
Altera EMR experience preferred, but not required
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Must be flexible to float to other units or campuses as needed
Orientation includes completing required online modules, averaging 6-8 hours
Clinicians must be available to complete laboratory screening within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
3 years of experience preferred
Must reside at least 150 miles from the facility
References from two supervisors within the last three years of employment required
Return travelers who were previous permanent staff must have separated from the facility for at least one year
