Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) evening shift position requiring a TX or compact license and L&D plus postpartum experience.

Responsibilities

Work in an acute care LDRP unit
Caring for labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients
Couplet care and mother/baby experience preferred
Evening shifts from 12:45pm to 9:15pm, scheduled Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday each week
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Epic EMR required
Duties include care of mothers through labor, delivery, and postpartum stages as well as newborn care
Orientation provided at the beginning of the assignment
Must have recent Epic experience for charting
Candidates must not have been employed by the associated health system within the last year
Compliance with facility vaccine and documentation requirements is necessary
Team-based environment with expectation of multi-disciplinary collaboration

Requirements

Active TX RN or compact state license must be in hand
Minimum of 3 years recent L&D nursing experience required
Experience in postpartum, mother/baby or couplet care needed
Skills in OB ED assessment and operating room circulator duties required
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE are required
Two professional references within specified recent roles and dates
