Travel Nursing Job Details

- Shift: 12-hour nights (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100–$2250
- On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
- Weekend Requirement: Schedule determined by facility
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current certifications (AHA or American Red Cross):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AFM
No license hits
Travel nursing experience preferred
Flu vaccination required (declinations may be considered)
Candidates with an AZ home address on their driver's license are not eligible
Must meet facility-specific background and compliance requirements
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a busy Labor & Delivery unit
- Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and assist with labor and delivery procedures
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
