Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details
- Location: Hyannis, MA (Cape Cod region) – Massachusetts nursing jobs
- Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital, CCH Float Pool (float between Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital)
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Med/Surg Telemetry
- Start Date: December 15, 2025
- End Date: March 14, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2210 - $2370 per week
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am), every other weekend & rotating holidays.
- Hours per Week: 36-40 (Guaranteed 40 hours)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care facility
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Telemetry experience required
- Must pass CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia Exams prior to start date
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Preferred: Experience with cardiac, post-surgical, oncology, dialysis, orthopedic, or neuro patients
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and discharge instructions
- Serve as a resource and mentor for patient care and staff orientation
- Demonstrate proficiency in computerized nursing informatics and electronic health records
- Assume charge nurse duties as needed
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Engage in ongoing professional development and nursing committees
- Float between units and facilities (Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital) as required
