Position Summary

Specialty: PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
Contract Length: 16 weeks (FMLA/LOA coverage)
Shift Options: 10:00a–8:30p and 12:00p–10:30p
Schedule: 40 hours per week, includes weekends and holidays as required
Orientation: next available start date November 17
Float Requirement: None

Rates

Travel and local rate (local under 75 miles)

Requirements

Experience: 2–5 years of recent PACU experience in a large, teaching facility (required)
Critical Care Skills:
- High-acuity PACU and critical care experience
- Management of art lines, multiple titrating drips, and cardiac monitoring
- Must be comfortable caring for pediatric and adult populations (especially for night shift)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (required)
Preferred: Infusion specialty experience
Charting System: Epic (experience within the past 2 years required and non-negotiable)
Transportation: Public transportation not available — reliable personal or rental vehicle required
- Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November–April

Compliance & Documentation

Work History: Must include bed count, EMR, and facility type for all positions
Employment Gaps: Any gap over 90 days must be explained in profile
Scheduling:
- No block scheduling for any reason
- Must be available for holidays and some Saturdays
Health Requirements:
- COVID-19 and Flu declinations accepted (proof or declination form required)
