Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team at a Level 1 Perinatal Center. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in maternal care and be able to provide high-quality support across all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
- Support nursery and postpartum care as needed.
- Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care for gynecological non-obstetrical patients.
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
- AHA BLS and NRP certifications are required; STABLE and AHA ACLS are preferred.
- New York RN license or proof of application with an applied date must be included in the application packet.
- Fetal Monitoring Certification and competencies appropriate for the nursing scope of practice are required.
- Experience in labor & delivery, nursery, and postpartum practices is essential.
