Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry (MS/Tele) will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, monitoring their health status, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN will utilize clinical judgement and critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patient condition, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state.
- Experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification may be preferred depending on the facility.
