Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Weston, WV 26452 (West Virginia travel nursing assignment)
- Unit: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) Unit
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- Start Date: October 6, 2025
- End Date: January 5, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (option to extend up to 6 months)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend (option for blocked weekends)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (West Virginia or compact state)
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience in Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work every third weekend as required
- Excellent communication, clinical, and critical thinking skills
Tele RN Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care on a busy MS/Tele unit, including care for stepdown-level patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document all patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR) promptly and accurately
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
